A Timberlake Ministries Retreat Center, we offer a variety of thrilling activities designed to create unforgettable experiences for guests of all ages. Whether you’re here for a church retreat, a family reunion, youth camp, field trip or company picnic & team building camp, our facilities are tailored to ensure fun and adventure!
Gymnasium & Arcade
Our spacious gymnasium features a full-court basketball setup, complete with large wooden bleachers for spectators. It can also be transformed into an indoor Laser Tag court! Right next door, our Arcade awaits, filled with video games, comfortable couches, and vending machines. Enjoy one of our free-to-play games or challenge your friends to arcade classics! Remember to bring quarters or small bills for our quarter-operated games.
Adventure Course
Get ready for an adrenaline rush at our Adventure Course! This exciting facility includes both High and Low Ropes Courses, a challenging Rock Wall, a thrilling Zip Line and our unique Alpine Swing known as the “Vomit Comet”, (we don’t know who came up with that name)! Activities are suitable for all ages, but children under 48″ in height will need adult assistance on the Ropes Course. Rest assured, all activities are led and supervised by our trained staff to ensure everyone’s safety!
Whether you are here for a youth group, field trip or company team building course, our Adventure Activities will set your event apart from the rest!
Playground and Recreation Area
Our playground area is a fantastic spot for recreation, featuring a playground, gaga ball pit, tetherball, sand volleyball court, and a concrete half-basketball court. With a large open field, it’s perfect for big group games and outdoor fun!
Swimming Pool
Jump into our inviting saltwater pool, ideal for warm weather activities. The pool has a maximum depth of 4 feet and is accompanied by a cabana area equipped with chairs and picnic tables for relaxation and enjoyment. Speak with us if you are needing our Pool Area for your event; current licensed lifeguard must be present at all times.
Scenic Lake Adventures
Explore the beauty of our 50-acre lake, perfect for canoeing, fishing, or serene nature walks. We provide life jackets (which must be worn at all times while in canoes), boats, and paddles allowing you to immerse yourself in the great outdoors while creating cherished memories!
Craft Barn
Unleash your creativity in our charming Craft Barn, located conveniently behind the Dining Hall. This versatile space is perfect for groups looking to engage in crafts and creative projects during their stay at Timberlake. Whether you’re making friendship bracelets, painting, or working on group projects, the Craft Barn is your go-to spot for artistic expression and activities!
Campfire Area
What would a camp be if there wasn’t a fire pit area? Embrace the warmth of community around our 2 inviting fire pits. Perfect for storytelling, singing, and roasting marshmallows, these campfire spots are located behind our Retreat Center and behind Cabin #1. Each area features designated seating, creating an intimate atmosphere for gathering. Please note that groups must obtain permission before using the fire pits and remember to bring your own firewood for a cozy evening under the stars!
